to install yum on your fedora linux box is very easy all you have to do is follow these steps on this tutorial i am giving you here, this tutorial includes pictures and images of where you can find the instructions on installing yum in your fedora computer.
1. first go to KDE Menu > System > Add/Remove Software

2. ok, once you are in the RPM package manger, click on the List tab, in the List tab, select Yum - 3.2.0-fc7.noarch

NOTE: i have fedora core 7, you probably have a newer release, but you get the idea.
3. after you have selected the yum package, click apply - Depending on your configuration, you may either be asked to insert your installation CD or it will donwload the RPM from the internet.
