Every so often I get this error trying to figure out why I keep getting this error. It appears that some applications cache their activity, even though you close the files, they still hold them, not until you completely close all your applications, that the file is release and you are able to delete or rename the files.

I found the best way is to close all the application and windowns, when I do that, it works.



BUT.. if the error you are getting is different, like the picture below, then you have another problem. like when you try to delete a file or rename it and all your applications are closed, yet you can't delete it for some reason. then you will need to go to this post:
