One of the most important ways to add security to your Linux account, is to change your password frequently. This tutorial will show you how to change your password in the unix/linux shell command:
1. login to your terminal (shell) with your username
2. Enter this command:
Code/Command:
passwd
You will be asked to enter your old password, then your new password, and then re-enter you new password
