hi, was wondering if you can give me some help here. i just installed my photoshop on my windows 7 computer, but when i tried to save the image as a gif or a jpeg file, i dont get those options. on my windows xp computer i did get those options why i can't see it anymore on my new computer? is photoshop CS not compatible with windows 7? as you can see from my image snapshot, i only have the option to save the file as .psd

I really hope you see this!
When I go on image ready it wont save as a gif. i have it all up but i cant save it as a gif for some reason!

webune - you are a heaven send!
go to the main menu at the top. select: Image > Mode
make sure you have "RGB Color" checked
